CBD the Hot Topic

As we know CBD is becoming one of the most talked-about topics that are currently sweeping the nation. It has had increasing reports, studies, and reviews on its effects for a wide range of ailments & conditions.

Some reports are suggesting more research is needed to prove certain positive effects but then looking elsewhere the reviews from scientists, doctors, professionals and everyday people like you and me are really building an overwhelming one-sided case for this remarkable compound.

To those of you who have already started using or have researched the CBD industry, you will know that CBD (Cannabidiol) is one of many active compounds found in the Cannabis Sativa plant. (Tetrahydrocannabinol) better known as THC is another maybe more well-known compound found in this plant, down to its psychoactive properties and the feeling of ‘getting high’.

CBD and Perception

However, speaking to people just around my local area and asking them if they know about CBD or THC I have been met with a confused face as the response. Then moving on to explain it is derived from the Cannabis plant, at that stage, I feel I lose most people in the conversation due to the negative stigma attached to the word.

This seems to be quite a common occurrence across the UK, and which also seems to be the biggest battle for the industry to change people’s perception on a plant that has been around for thousands of years.

CBD the Future

Even at this early stage with CBD legalised, CBD is showing the signs of a massive surge across the planet let alone the UK.

Now I like to base my opinions on people’s genuine experiences and the reviews of professionals who are looking at this product with an unbiased view.

So, when I hear success stories of CBD aiding; anxiety, PTSD, addictions and moving on to physical conditions like multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s, it makes you think, this must be the real deal.

Let alone the versatility of CBD where it can be infused with pretty much anything from tincture oils to body butter to allow people the flexibility on how they want to take their dosage.

So, taking all things into consideration and the fact we are in the very early days of this new age of holistic health. CBD has only just started its journey; however, I believe as time goes by and after the power of self-experiences backed by scientific evidence has grown CBD will become the first powerhouse towards a more educated look into overall health.

The future is certainly looking bright for this clever hidden gem.
