Could CBD Help Me
CBD has fast become popular in holistic type home remedies for a number of health-related issues. Research, however, is starting to catch up and we are now seeing CBD being used to treat a number of more complex health issues such as Fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s, epilepsy, psoriasis, diabetes, and muscle/joint pains from things like arthritis.
The research is still being done but real-life reports of people’s lives being changed are undeniable.
In a study of Parkinsonian patients at the Prague Movement Disorders Centre who reported oral CBD intake, over 30% of them self-reported having a reduced resting tremor because of oral CBD intake. Dr Gordon said “44.7 percent reported that oral cannabis alleviated the symptom of Bradykinesia – the slowness of movement.
And many patients report subjective benefit in terms of sleep, anxiety and quality of life as a result of using CBD and cannabinoid products,”
Diabetes is an inflammatory condition and CBD does have anti-inflammatory properties. Research has shown that CBD has promise in reducing insulin resistance and moderating blood sugars for people with type 2 not taking insulin.
Another study was led by researchers in Italy showed that by applying topical CBD-enriched ointment on psoriatic skin it did help to reduce psoriasis symptoms. The study had five psoriasis patients apply CBD ointment to those areas of their skin affected by psoriasis. They did this twice a day for three months and the researchers found that it improved the quality of life for those patients.
CBD has been found to be effective in reducing pain, improving sleep, and diminishing refractory pain in patients with fibromyalgia, migraine, irritable bowel syndrome, and similar conditions involving chronic pain.

Anxiety sufferers overtook depression for the first time, making it the number 1 mental health disorder. Many people are leaning towards CBD to treat their mental health disorders, rather than medically prescribed treatments.
In another survey conducted in 2017, four out of ten of those taking part said that CBD was more effective for relieving medical conditions, including anxiety, compared to prescribed medications.
Extensive research on CBD in more recent years has proved that the compound does provide benefits to people by stimulating receptor cells in the endocannabinoid system within the human body. Due to this, many countries are now introducing CBD products to treat mental health medical conditions.
CBD is a highly versatile treatment for a cheaper cost than traditional medications.
Mental health disorders and CBD
